High Honors, Tall Trees

Thanks to a special grant from the ECU Foundation, nine Honors seniors and two Honors faculty traveled to San Francisco March 10-13. For most, the best part of the trip was either our morning walk among the Redwoods in Muir Woods or the afternoon catamaran cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge. The Honorable Travelers seen above from left to right are (with their majors): Linzi Thompson (Environmental Health Science and Chemistry), Chase Tillar (Physics), Ashley Huhman (Mathematics and Computer Science), Marissa Hinton (Nursing), Anna Talkington (English Education), Alan Dennis (Business: Accounting), Darby (Molecular Biology and Studio Art), Tell Jordan (History), Dr. Rebecca Nicholson-Weir (English), and Melody Dunn (Music: Vocal, Education).
